Directions

1. Ferihegy Airport
- Airport Shuttle. 8 seats 'Airport Minibus' Service takes you directly to GH for HUF2990(EUR12)/40 min. If you are traveling more than one people it is cheaper to take a taxi.
- Public Transportation. Cost you HUF310*2 (4EUR)/60min. Tickets are available at the newspaper desk at the airport for HUF 310 one way. Be sure to buy two tickets. Change as little money as possible at the airport- rate is better in downtown. Public transport only until 22.30 pm! LOCAL big blue REPTERBUSZ(Airport Bus) under no 200E from the airport until its last stop. Bus stop at the airport: Terminal 1: just little bit left of the exit of the terminal. Terminal 2. Just go outside of the building, the stop is almost in front of you little bit on your right. The bus will bring you to the BLUE Line/M3 METRO. Use your second ticket at the entrance of the Metro. From the Kobanya-Kispest metro station, ride until the FERENCIEK TERE Station. Come up from the metro on the left-hand side. On your left you will see a Catholic church, left of the church is the busy Kossuth L. utca (street). Walk along Kossuth L. st for 100m/300feet until the first street, which is Szep st. You will find GH at the end of Szep utca, on the right side after the Internet Caf. Doorbell is on the wall just left from the entrance. Doorbell is on the wall just left from the entrance. Push No. 10 at the doorbell. Come up on the stairs straight into the courtyard. Ginkgo's entrance is on the left site, where we will warmly welcome you.
Warning! Always have a valid ticket, since it is controlled in Budapest very often, especially on the metro lines! Fine is 6000Huf/25Euro.
-Taxi. From the airport take Zona Taxi with a flat rate of Huf4100. Tax is waiting in front of the airport building. Otherwise Taxi service is only reliable in Budapest if you book by telephone. Be sure to confirm the price before starting your ride.

2. Train Stations
KELETI or DELI Station take the RED line metro (M2) to ASTORIA. At Keleti a new metro line is under construction, so metro exit is changed each month, so just look for M2 sign and find the entrance most probably left from the train station. After stepping out of the metro at Astoria, take the escalator. You will be in an underground plaza, not yet at street level. Walk straight until you can. From here there are two stairs on your left. Take the one which goes right - sign says Kossuth L. utca/st. Keep walking straight on Kossuth L. st. (Astoria Hotel will be on your left). The second street on your left will be Szep st. You will find GH on the right side, at the end of Szep st, just after the Internet Caf. Doorbell is on the wall left from the entrance. Push No. 10 at the doorbell. Come up on the stairs straight into the courtyard. Ginkgo's entrance is on the left site.

-NYUGATI Station take the blue line metro (M3) until FERENCIEK TERE. Come up from the metro on the left-hand side. To your left you will see a Catholic church, to the left of the church is the busy Kossuth L. utca. Walk along Kossuth L. utca for 100m/300feet until the first street, which is Szep utca. You will find GH at the end of Szep utca, on the right side after the Internet Caf. Doorbell is just on the wall left from the entrance. Push No. 10 at the doorbell. Come up on the stairs straight into the courtyard. Ginkgo's entrance is on the left site.

Warning! Always have a valid ticket, since it is controlled in Budapest very often, especially on the metro lines! Fine is 6000Huf/25Euro.

Warning! Ask a local people for ordering you a taxi- if you need one. Avoid taxis just waiting for you in front of the train stations under all conditions.

3. From Bus terminals
-Bus terminals are next to metro stations. Look for line M2 or M3 and see the Train Station section above for further details.

4. By car
Szep st is a one way street, entering from Realtanoda utca/st is possible. Keep in mind though that there is no free parking in the city center, however in 10 minutes walking distance we can recommend you parking for free zone. One day parking in downtown cost you ap. 15 Euro. Write us for further details.

5. Arrival after 11pm.
Budapest has a fairly good night bus service. Instead of M2 metro line look for 907 or 973 Bus, the stop is infront of Keleti Station on the surface, just 10m left opposite the road running in front of the station. Take bus which arrives from your right and drives left if the station is behind you. Instead of M3 line 914 or 950. Both cases make it sure to choose the right direction to ASTORIA station-. If you are there read instruction mentioned at sections before .

WARNING! Money changing rates at the train stations and airport- especially at KELETI- are at least 20% worst for you than in the city center.

WARNING! Public Bus number system was changed on September 6 2008. Therefore most of the hard copy maps indicating bus lines have
