La Torretta Citta' Alta

Our Holiday House 'La Torretta' is situated in the medieval Upper Town of Bergamo, in a 14th Century tower which overlooks the famous 'Mercato delle Scarpe square' once arrival point of the streets which led to the town. In the square you can find the arrival station of the funicular, built in a gothic building, with a wide panoramic terrace which commands a view over the lower town.

Our house has got a unique position, excellent for those who wants to visit the Upper Town on foot, it is just few minutes walk from the Old Square (Piazza Vecchia), symbol of the town, and from the Dome Square nearby, which form the monumental centre of the city.

Holiday House 'La Torretta' welcomes its guests in a warm and cosy atmosphere, it has a triple, a double and a twin room with a balcony from which you'll enjoy the special air of the old village.

Two spacious and comfortable bathrooms are fitted out with bath and shower and equipped with hairdryer and bath set.

The wide living room, where each morning a rich breakfast with local products and personally prepared by the owners is served is a peaceful and cosy meeting point.

Transfer service from and to the airport or the train station on demand.

Bergamo railway station is just 1 km away (direct connection by bus number 1).

Milan-Orio al Serio Airport is located 5 km from La Torretta (straight connection by city bus; or personal transfers organised on request).
