We are an incredible premier vacation destination located at scenic Marblehead Point. The Surf Motel is a New England style full-service lodging establishment that offers both efficiencies and spacious motel rooms capable of accommodating from one to six people. Our relaxed, casual atmosphere includes an outdoor swimming pool, quiet sundeck, picnic area and grills. Your well-appointed room offers color television with cable, telephones with free local calls, air conditioning and free ice for your beverages. Our other amenities include rollaway beds, cribs, fax and copy service and a laundromat. Non-smoking rooms are available. We even have a full-service campground on site that will accommodate overnight RVs. Our fishermen enjoy complete fish-cleaning facilities, ample boat parking in our large lot, complimentary freezers for storing your catch of the day , free fishing information and an on-premise convenience store featuring a full line of live bait, tackle and sundry items. We done some beautiful remodeling over winter and we also expanded our store to include the new Lighthouse Gift Depot featuring Marblehead Lighthouse gifts,souvenirs and unique nautical items. Nearby you will enjoy shopping, beaches, world-class fishing for walleye, yellow perch and small mouth bass, historical attractions, restaurants, golf courses, sightseeing, birding, parks and unique galleries. And you re most welcome to try your hand at catch and release bass fishing in our stocked, private pond. Our knowledgeable staff will furnish you with free area maps and information about all of our spectacular attractions including the famous Lake Erie Islands which are just a short ferry ride away. While you re staying with us, plan to visit nearby Cedar Point Amusement Park, home of the world s largest number of roller coasters.
