Description of Accommodations

Built in 1887, this beautiful historic home survived the devastation of the 1900 hurricane, and still proudly boasts the original front entry door, hardwood floors, twelve foot ceilings, stained and leaded glass windows, unique light fixtures, transoms and pocket doors. Special care has been taken to retain much of the home's original woodwork and windows during a recent, careful restoring process. Adding to the historical integrity of the home are many modern conveniences, including central air, and an outdoor swimming pool. Enter a home of days gone by, where you will still find old world charm and southern hospitality.

Description of Rooms/Suites

All guest rooms are located on the second floor, and have central air and heat, ceiling fans, cable TV with DVD/VCR, wireless internet access, alarm clocks, exceptional bedding, and convenient access to the hospitality room. Each room is named after a coastal area, and has been decorated with individual personality and charm to suit your every need. All rooms have private baths with egyptian cotton towels, hairdryers, handmade scented soap, lotion, and small items you may have forgotten at home.

Check in: 4 PM to 7 PM (unless prior arrangements are made)
Check out: 12 PM
Two night minimum stay required for special local events, holidays, and weekend summer months (March - September).
One week cancellation notice required. If less than one week, full reserved stay will be charged unless room can be rebooked.
Smoking permitted on the large outdoor deck or covered patio.
No smoking indoors.
The friendly resident dog will gladly keep you company if you need your "pet fix".
No accommodations for pets are available at this time.
Well behaved children, 12 and over, are welcome.

I-45 South to Galveston. I-45 turns into Broadway.

Broadway to 37th Street, turn right.

37th Street to Bernardo de Galvez (Av P), turn left (one way street).

Fifth house on the left side, yellow two story.

Park on either side of the street.
