The Monterey Bay sailing
fleet consists of a Catalina 22, Coronado 30, Pegasus 32, and Wyliecat 30.
2-6 passengers go on a 30' sail boat.
7-35 passengers go on a 65' Wyliecat sail boat.
35-149 passengers go on power boats of 60 - 95' depending on the number of heads.
Our cruises leave from Old Fisherman's Wharf #1 through the Monterey harbor, and sails go up as soon as you get past the breakwater. From there you will sail along the historic Cannery Row, past the kelp beds with Sea Otters, California Sea Lions, and different species of marine birds. Your voyage continues towards Pacific Grove, Lovers Point, Point Pinos and circles back around in the bay.
Age range, type of group
Sailing is a safe, affordable, and fun family activity for all ages.
Sleeping and meals
Boat Overnights are romantic and the sleep that falls over you as our vessel gently rocks in her berth is the most restful you will ever have and less expensive than most hotels. Arise to Mother and pup otters cracking abalone for their breakfast.
Four courses replete with succulent grilled Monterey Bay seafood entree and French pastries are a sensory extravaganza. Intimate private sunset dinner cruises are popular for honeymoons, anniversaries, wedding proposals, birthdays and other special events. A lighter appetizer cruise is also available.

The clear waters of the Monterey Bat and the simple abundance of marine life, along with the experience of Captain Dutch and autumn warm weather made this one of the best parts of my stay in Monterey. There were sea otters, sea lions, seals, dolphins, and jellyfish in the water, along with some birds and other animals. It was beautiful and a lot of fun. Definitely bring your camera and have some fun out on the water! ... more
