Casa Rex now offers travellers a sublime stopover in Vilankulo, gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago. The Bazaruto Archipelago, situated off the coast of Mozambique, is made up of several tropical islands and includes some awesome reefs which are home to a diverse array of marine life. As a result there are a host of water sports available in the area including world class deep sea fishing, scuba diving and snorkelling. Activities can be booked through the Casa Rex management (prices available on request).

Accommodation is charmingly decorated in an individual style with an emphasis in the lounge and dining areas on custom crafted wood furniture and fittings.

With bathrooms en-suite, all rooms offer a breezy perspective of the bay. For maximum comfort, airy mosquito nets are hung and windows are fitted with shutters against the occasional rain shower. The luxury rooms have air-conditioning and internet access.

Directions

There are daily flights to Vilankulo from Maputo and Johannesburg. Casa Rex is located just 4km's from the Vilankulo International Airport.

If guests are driving they should turn off at Pambarra and it is 22km's to Vilankulos. At the main junction as you arrive turn left and 2km's along, when you reach the beach front, turn left again Casa Rex is 800 m along this road on the right.
