Located adjacent to Desolation Sound Marine Park, Powell River Sea Kayak Ltd. specializes in this unique and wonderful destination.

Guided options include day tours and all-inclusive multi-day camping expeditions.

Experience is not necessary on day or multi-day tours.

Typical Day

The wildlife, scenery and idyllic sea kayaking fulfill many guests expectations. However, Powell River Sea Kayak goes well beyond this by enhancing the entire experience with great food, naturalist guides, and added activities such as snorkeling in waters teeming with colourful Sea Stars, Spiny Urchins, Sea Cucumbers and so much more!

All tours include kayaks and equipment of the highest quality and many added products to ensure a safe
and comfortable experience throughout.

All are welcome! Group dynamic is important to us and we try to book like-minded groups into trips. This includes adult-only trips as well as trips catered to family-style fun and adventure.

Sleeping and meals

On camping tours, Powell River Sea Kayak provides high-end tents and comfy thermarest sleeping pads.
Wilderness campsites are typically very private, such as idyllic little islands or rainforest hollows with pocket beach access.

On all tours, the food is fresh, local, well planned and often evokes flattering quotes from guests.

Rates & Availability

Camping tours start at $395 Canadian per person for a 2 day tour and $745 for 4 days.

Desolation tours range from day-long trips to overnight trips ranging from 2 days to 6 days.

Longer duration trips include 7 & 8 day Majestic Mountains as well as The Epic 10 day trip.

Full day tours start at $109 and include a wonderful lunch.

Multi-day tours include all meals, non-alcoholic beverages and all kayaking and camping gear.

50% off children 10 and under.
15% off groups of 8 or more.
