Description of Rooms/Suites

Patterned after 1920s Hill Country houses our guest rooms are created out of native stone, rough board-and-batten siding and corrugated metal roofs. Equipped with porches and rocking chairs for taking in the incredible Lake Buchanan view, these Texas hill country accommodations will guide you to relaxation.

Equipped to handle business travelers, couples, groups and families of all sizes the 64-room Lodge rooms are scattered about the grounds. Some of our rooms are located in cottages; some are situated near the pool which has its own rock waterfall. Some rooms provide spectacular views over the Lake from their spacious porches. No matter the reason or the size of your party Canyon of the Eagles can accommodate your needs.

Lodge Rooms
We offer guest two designs, the first with a single queen sized bed and a window seat that can double as a small sleeping area for children, the second one with two queen beds. Our rooms are designed to be flexible and allow families and groups traveling together with adjoining rooms. With tasteful amenities these rooms are spacious and welcoming.

Cottage Rooms
Cottage rooms have all the amenities and space of our lodge rooms but also provide a small sitting area along with a small refrigerator and a microwave.

Amenities

Canyon of the Eagles is a place designed for enjoying nature. Most of the 940 acres of Canyon of the Eagles Park have been set aside as a nature preserve for wildlife, such as Bald Eagles, Black-capped Vireo, and Golden-cheeked Warbler.

Directions

Canyon of the Eagles is in the Texas Hill Country, about an hour and a half drive northwest of Austin and within a half days drive from both Houston and Dallas.

Printable Map & Directions

From Austin
Follow I-35 North and take Highway 29 West through Burnet to FM 2341. Follow FM 2341 to the right (Northwest) until you come upon Canyon of the Eagles at the end of the road.

From Dallas/Fort Worth
Take I-30 West to 1-20 West, and veer south on Highway 281 to Highway 29. Take 29 West to FM 2341. Turn right and follow 2341 until you come to the end of the road, and drive directly into the Canyon of the Eagles Lodge & Nature Park.

From Houston
Take 290 West for approximately 145 miles. Exit Anderson Lane to Highway 183 for two miles and take I-35 North to Highway 29 West. Turn right on FM 2341 and you will drive directly into the resort.

From San Antonio
Take 281 North to Highway 29 West. Follow 29 to FM 2341, and turn right. FM 2341 will bring you to the entrance of the resort.
