Description of Surrounding Area
Nestled on the eastern end of Lake Ontario where the waters of the Great Lakes begin their long journey up the St. Lawrence River, Kingston is located half way between Toronto and Montreal, yet it feels worlds away. Also known as the Limestone City, the architecture will be one of the first things you notice. Kingston’s wide array of attractions, activities and festivals are minutes away from The Tymparon Inn: Fort Henry, the Rideau Canal, The Royal Military College, Wolfe Island Ferry, 1000 Islands Cruise departures and Queens University, to note a few.
