Active Adventure

Enjoy a uniquely Antiguan experience. Take an invigorating and scenic
mountain bike ride from historical Shirley Heights where you will experience
breathtaking and enchanting views over English Harbour, Nelson Dockyard and
the nearby island from this 18th century building.

This insightful ride will take you pass fortified barracks and rampart where
once red-coats stood sentry, and finally to the Nelson Dockyard (British
Naval Headquarters for the leeward Island) with it's massive brick building,
huge iron cauldrons and museum filed with artifacts.

After a brief tour, you will be shuttle to the park's beautiful beach
for a swim and complimentary lunch.

Typical Day

Our daily operations will begin at 8:30 am. This will commence with the transporting of the guest from the resort, hotel or guest house.

Upon arrival between 9:30 am – 10:00 am our bicycles tour will begin. Each of our clientèle will be provided with a bicycle along with a safety helmet, elbow and knee pads.

Thereafter they will be guided down by two very experience tour guides on the adventurous ride to the Nelson Dock Yard. Our guides are trained in first aid and emergency procedures.

Once at the dock yard each will be offered light refreshment, water or sport drink and then given the option of a hike to Fort Berkley or a shuttle ride to Pigeon’s Point beach where a delicious lunch will be served.

Time will be allowed if the guest wishes to swim or bask in the warm rejuvenating sun. At the conclusion each is transported back to their resort, hotel or guest house.

Mountain to Sea bike Adventure will forward a commission of 16% per guest from the price of our tour.

Mountain to Sea Bike Adventure also offers a city tour which starts at Heritage Quay to Fort James and to Five Island and Hawks Bill Beach for the more experience riders.

15 year old- as young as you feel.All are Welcome.

Sleeping and meals

Lunch is included in our Shirley Heights tour at our beach side Restaurant.

Other Information

We will offer a scooter and bicycle rental from the pier of St.Johns.We also offer daily Tour from St.Johns cruise ship pier to the Beach. Daily and weekly rentals are also available starting from $20-$40USD.
