Description of Surrounding Area

Christoffelpark - beautiful nature area around the Saint Christoffel Mountain in Bandabou at the west side of the island (see #12 on the map), here you find tranquility, very large cactuses, lizards and beautiful birds. You can make an excursion with the car (jeep advised), but a better way is to climb the Christoffel Mountain.

Shete Boka - At Shete Boka ("Seven Inlets" in Papiamento) hike along the rugged, crag-strewn cliffs where the sea has carved out dramatic caverns. Take the path along the bluff to the edge of this limestone/coral landscape where you will see the wave’s crash against the north coast for miles in each direction. An easily passable path leads over the rocky north coast to a rock with an observation platform in Boka Wandomi (natural bridge).

Westpunt - This is where the day's catch is brought to land. A sight seer's beach, Westpunt is not ideal for a day of sunbathing or swimming. Don't forget your shoes or sandals or you will be punished! Its pebbly surface won't allow you to go barefoot. Cliff Jumping and Diving is practiced here a lot..

Flamingo's - The flamingo reserve at the former salt flats at St. Marie. Also see the oldest land house on Curacao: Jan Kok built in 1654. In the late 1800’s Jan Kok’s salt mining was a profitable venture, employing more than 100 laborers. These days the house hosts a standing exhibition of paintings of a famous local artist.

Truck di pan – if after all these trips you have got appetite, pass along the “Truck di Pan” open during late
afternoon, evening and nightly hours for delicious bread
or “batata”(sort of French fries) “hot chicken”, “lomito”, etc.

First floor:
Bedroom with air co, bathroom with shower, 2nd toilet and walk-in closet with a safe and fantastic balcony with splendid ocean view. Maximum occupancies 4 persons.

BUNGALOW:
Ground floor:
Entirely furnished living room with air co and sleeping couch, open kitchen with cooking unit, magnetron, refrigerator and all required kitchen equipment, 2 bedrooms with closets and a safe, 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet and terrace with garden furniture.

First floor:
Bedroom with air co and fantastic balcony with splendid ocean view(only for bungalows 1st ring). Maximum occupancies 6 persons.

Amenities
