The Old Post Office is situated in the heart of Falmouth town, a short walk from the Train station, Beach, Pendennis Castle, National Maritime museum and some beautiful coastal footpaths. Being in the centre of Falmouth gives the Old Post Office a unique access to this lively Cornish town.

We are a small family run business that provides homely, elegant and spacious accommodation. The rooms are equipped with a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms themselves have their own keys, are serviced every day and they include linen and towels. There is a large and tidy bathroom and another separate toilet, as the rooms are not en suite. PLEASE NOTE: Although advertised as double rooms, each of our rooms can act as a DOUBLE, TWIN, or TRIPLE, as all our rooms have a double and a single bed.

If you wish to book a TRIPLE or TWIN room simply book as a double but indicate it is a twin or triple you want. PLEASE NOTE: For a triple it is £50 per night, for a double or twin: £40 per night.


A continental Breakfast is also provided for all of our guests, which includes fresh fruit and croissants from the local baker. Although we don’t cook a full English Breakfast an array of cafes can be found quite literaly on our doorstep.

The communal area has a large TV with DVD player and a wide selection of films, books, games and free Internet access for the rainy days. We have a decked BBQ area that is also a place for smokers as the rest of the establishment is non-smoking. We have a lockable storage space if guests want to leave valuables or luggage during the day.

We are children and pet friendly (as long as pets are sufficiently house trained). There will always be a member of staff around to help 24 hours and there is no curfew. Guests have their own front door key and can come and go as they please.

Being a small business we can only accept cash or cheques as a form of payment however we are very colse to a number of ATM machines.

PARKING: Unfortunatly due to being so central we cannot provide private car parking, however you do not need a permit to park residentually in Falmouth. We will be happy to help you find somwhere when you arrive.

Directions

The Old Post Office is just a short walk from the Falmouth Town train station. Follow the signs for the Maritime museum but follow on past the museum when you get there. This road will lead straight into town. As you pass the church of King Charles the Martyr there is a big blue building. This is Big Wednesday surf shop. We are located above Big Wednesday with access from the door to the right of the shop sign posted The Old Post Office.

If arriving by bus walk from the bus station on Falmouth moor down the hill towards Tesco. At the bottom of the hill turn right onto the main high street (Market St) and continue until you see Big Wednesday surf shop.

If arriving by car follow signs for the town centre. Follow the one-way system until you reach Market Street. There will be signs for the church street car park. Park up and come and find us on Church Street above Big Wednesday surf shop. Unfortunatly due to being so central we cannot provide private car parking, however you do not need a permit to park residentually in Falmouth.
