Casina Murgecchia Fano

The complex is about 20 Kms from Bari and it's furnished with walkways and a pool with a large solarium ideal for open-air festive gatherings. There is also a small Church on the grounds: La Madonna Immacolata.
The area is surrounded with certified biological agriculture and equipped with natural walkways, so that it is possible to admire asparagus, chicory and a variety of other edible plants characteristic of country cooking.

The farm holiday Casina Murgecchia Fano is a recently born company from an intuition of the arch. Giulio Fano, who in 1993 acquired one immense extension of grounds in the area of Grumo Appula. After a few years and with efforts and committment, the agricultural company has returned to produce olive oil of lofty chemical residual contained organic quality and fertilizers null; in fact the company is certified in biologic and its products are appreciated in all Europe.

The rooms, all with double bed having possibility of an extra single bed are all extremely comfortable. There's also a bath in the rooms as well as TV and many more facilities.

There's also an excellent restaurant in the guesthouse.
It is built from a restored antique horse stable and smoke-house, this area is divided into many sections: the foyer, bar, sitting area with a grand fireplace, TV corner, large ballroom for gatherings and many smaller halls.

Bari 'Palese' airport is 20 Km away from the guesthouse.
The major Bari train station is 22 Km away.
The nearest train station Grumo Appula is 4 Km away.

If you start from Bari's Airport 'Bari-Palese', you arrive at Modugno at 5 km, then you must go in direction Altamura-Matera on the 'S.S' n°96 to get to Palo del Colle at 7 km.

Leading from SS n°96, taking the second exit of Palo del Colle, after the flyover you take the way of Binetto-Grumo Appula.

After 3 km there is the first town Binetto (do not mistake with Bitetto, neighbour town), then you cross Binetto and you follow the main street and you can arrive to Grumo Appula. This two town are very close to each other.

At the entrance of Grumo Appula on the left there is a petrol station of Agip then you follow for 100 metres and after there is a junction. Turn left to Cassano; at this junction there are the road signs with the indication to arrive in 'Agriturismo Casina Murgecchia' Fano.

You follow to Cassano, you cross the town of Grumo. During the way you found a hospital, a little park.
After you arrive on the street for Cassano, you can follow for 150 metres.
In this part of the way you must pay attention because on the left there is a deviation to arrive in 'Agriturismo Casina Murgecchia' Fano. In this point there is a road sign with the indication to the Agriturismo.
After 4 km you can find the farm.

If you start from 'Stazione Centrale (central station)' of Bari.
You take a train to Grumo Appula. There are two possibility, you can take the train of FFSS o the train of 'Ferrovie Appulo Lucane'. When you are at the station, after that you have communicated the leaving, our car will arrive to the station to take the guest.
