Ostello Della Gioventú in Venice (OstelloVenezia.it), is part of the Hostelling International association of Hostels in Itay.

Ostello Venezia l is beautifully located in an ancient, refurbished grain store on Giudecca Island in the heart of Venice.

Palladian churches, the Doge's Palace, the bridge of Sighs and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection are all within easy reach. The Youth Hostel has 260 beds and facilities include tv room, common rooms, tourist information, luggage store for members, lockers.

Please note, if you are not a Member of Hostelling International there is an extra charge of €3 per person per night. Once you have stayed 6 nights at a HI Hostel you become a HI member, and no extra charges apply for future stays.

Cancellation policy is 72 Hours, also changes in a booking have to be notified at least 72 hours prior arrival; cancellation and change in a booking are accepted only via mail.

Directions

The Youth Hostel is located 1 Km south of the city centre and:
- 2 Km from Parking Tronchetto Island ( chargeable);
- 2 Km from Port of Venice;
- 2 Km from Railway station 'Venezia Santa Lucia' , and then take boat n° 2 or 41 direction Giudecca and get off at Zitelle stop.
- 2 Km from bus terminal 'Piazzale Roma' , take boat n° 2 or 41 direction Giudecca and get off at Zitelle stop.
- 10 Km from Airport 'Marco Polo' , take bus n° 5 and then,once in 'Piazzale Roma' take boat n° 41 or 2 to 'Zitelle' stop.
