We offer free transport to Mo-Bay, and can offer you a tried and trusted registered local operator for day trips at reasonable rates.

Julia's was built by the DeLisser family in the 1950s on grounds that were the Duke of Sutherland's private home estate from 1840. The villa has changed hands several times since the 50s, with William Hill the Bookmaker and, the Governor General of Jamaica making it their home. The Italian singer Raimondo Meglio and his wife Julia bought the property, renamed it Julia's and ran it as an Italian Restaurant. Julia's has now ended up in the hands of the present owners, brothers Biffo and Clive Brown from England. Biff went to the restaurant for dinner in 2004 and fell in love with the estate.

The views over Montego Bay from Julia's are widely acknowledged to be the best views in the area, looking out onto Mo-Bay and the Freeport. The villa is 600ft above sea level giving a fantastic vantage point to look out across the bay, to the horizon and enjoy the sunsets. The fantastic views are complemented by the relaxed atmosphere of the villa.

Day trips can be arranged for you at reasonable rates to visit attractions such as Dunne's River and Mayfield Falls, the world famous Doctors Cave, Bathing Club, Appleton Estate (the oldest rum plantation and distillery in Jamaica), Negril and Seven Mile Beach, Ocho Rios, Runaway Bay and more.

Our long, low-slung villa is set in 7acres of beautiful tropical gardens with and boasts incredible panoramic views of the bay, the rolling hills and the coastline. We even have the biggest swimming pool in Mo-Bay!

Directions

We are located a 30 minute drive form the airport. We offer free transport from the airport and back again.

If you are making your own way from the airport, drive to the town centre of Montego Bay.

From the centre of Montego Bay, our property is a 15 minute drive down the windy jungle road.
