WARM GREETING FROM BORNEO TRAVELLERS’ LIGHT…

Travellers' Light is Clean, Cozy, Comfortable, Peace and one of the new lodge in city. We are Safe and Convenience to stay, and the Police Station is our neighbor. And the natural exotic rainforest at our backyard garden which you will observe and hear the butterfly, bird, squirrel and insect in their natural habitat.

We are ideally located at the historical site called “Australia Place” in the city center. And beside us is a peaceful hill slope and green forest. Travellers'Light lodge is becoming popular among the discerning international travelers. Our lodge provides affordable accommodation with common and basic facilities, 24 hours reception and security, air conditioned rooms and most importantly is clean and comfortable place to rest.
In 5-15 minutes walking distance, you can get to the frequent convenience stores, cinemas, Atkinson’s historical Clock Tower, shopping centers, cafes, restaurants, banks and pubs, an easy access to public transport such as buses and ferries terminals to your designated destinations, Sabah Tourism Board information centre which in Gaya street. Our popular Gaya Street Sunday Market is just across a street from our lodge. And you may take 15-20 min. walk to the Signal Hill's Observation Pavilion platform for a magnificent bird's eye view of the city and Sunset, too.

We are able to house a family or a group of max 34 guests in our 8 beds & 6 beds Dormitory & 4 beds Family rooms.
All rooms are Air-Conditioned.

We are located at No.19 Lorong Dewan (known as Australian Place). Locally called Jalan Dewan Masyarakat ( which means Community Hall Ave.)

Approx. 10-15 min. from Kota Kinabalu Intl' and Domestic airport terminals by taxi / cab.

Approx. 20-25 min. walk from the Labuan island and Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park Ferry terminal.

Approx. 15-20 min. from Sandakan/Lahad Datu/ Tawau/Sempurna Bus Terminal by taxi / cab
