Landhuis Daniel

Landhuis Daniel is a family operated budget hotel and restaurant. It is situated in a restored plantation house, dating back to 1700, on the rural Western part of the island, amidst tropical scenery. The atmosphere is relaxed with focus on personal attention and service for our guests. The hotel function is small scale and our style may be described as nonconformist and laid back, usually not found nowadays in the big tourist complexes - a perfect stop on your backpacker trail of the Caribbean island of Curaçao.

The plantation house offers a restaurant and bar with a large shady terrace and a lounge with satellite TV and library with among others more than 2000 culinary books. Next to the plantation house is a small children's playground, families with small children will surely feel at home at Landhuis Daniel. There is alsoo a diving operation on site(Trunkdivers)

Of course the island of Curacao is a paradise for beach and sun lovers, but the active traveller will also be pleased with what Curacao has to offer.The island offers all kind of possibilities: from water sports (scuba diving, snorkelling, big game fishing), hiking/biking trails and horseback riding to excursions to several island attractions, like the Christoffel Park, Klein Curacao, Seaquarium, Ostrich farm, Herb garden and several museums. Also the architecture of Willemstad is worthwhile visiting.

Directions

Leave the airport to the right, drive until the first roundabout. Go to the right again(direction Westpunt)and follow this road for about 10 kms. On your right side you will find Landhuis Daniel, just after the junction to the village of Willibrordus
