Christchurch is the Gateway to the amazing South Island. Our suburb of Addington is becoming more of a happening place to be with awesome new places opening. Try out the Addington Coffee Co, the Court Theatre is opening in October, Simo's Morroccan Deli, Bean Scene, Cargo Bar and Dux Live Music Venue all coming soon.
Stay somewhere different! Offering you modern facilities in our budget youth hostel, you will have secure key access to your room 24 hours. Jail features provide total security. You will not find a cleaner place to stay.
We offer over 30 private rooms available as singles, doubles, twin bunks and dorms as well as some larger rooms that can be used by families or groups. Families very welcome (baby cot available), if travelling with under 18's please reserve private rooms, not shared dorms.
Make your own meals in our new fully-equipped commercially-styled guest kitchen, or there are many food outlets within walking distance. Wake up to a cup of our freshly made organic, fair-trade espresso coffee from our coffee bar. Bicycle hire, WI-FI available, FREE DVD HIRE AND CINEMA ROOM, and TV and DVD in doubles, FREE POOL TABLE, FREE TOWELS and linen with fully made-up beds.
We are located near to Hagley Park, Tranzalpine train (free shuttle TO the station available) and the CBS Canterbury Arena where many concerts and functions are held. You could walk, or it is a short bus ride to the centre of town. Free vehicle parking is available too.

WE WELCOME LATE NIGHT ARRIVALS, however if you are arriving after 9pm, please note that the reception is closed and the front door is locked. We will email you late arrival instructions if your online booking states 9pm or later.
From Christchurch airport we recommend you take SuperShuttle directly to door - they operate 24/7 from Christchurch Airport, freephones available at arrivals halls, costs NZ$19 for 1 person and $5 each extra person. Pre-book at www.supershuttle.co.nz

Or bus to city bus exchange and catch bus #7 to Lincoln Rd, outside our building. Taxis operate for all arrivals, approx NZ$45.
Bus: Take #7 or #77 to Lincoln Rd, get off at yellow 'Tony's Tyre Service' building or ask the friendly driver - they all know wherre we are!
Kiwi Experience, Magic and Stray buses all pickup and drop off here.
Train: Walking (we are 1500 metres from Railway Station), turn left into Whiteleigh
