Abrigo Da Montanha

The family friendly hotel Estalagem Abrigo da Montanha is located in a height of appr. 900 m above the idyllic mountain village of Monchique , offering stunning views over the Serra to the sea from all the rooms.
It comprises of 12 twin rooms with private bathroom and 4 suites , which are tastefully furnished in rustic style . Each rooms has telephone , air conditioning/ heating and a private southern patio with panoramic views . Each of the suites has an open fireplace , so has the cosy lounge with international TV program.
The basement accommodates the reception area and the restaurant with a little bar. Outside there is a private pool with terrace ( sun loungers ,umbrellas and towels incl.) as well as a large dance floor also with a bar area .Furthermore there is the Esplanada restaurant , set up mainly for lunchtime with 35 seats inside and 100 seats outside.In the evenings the guests can enjoy a chuill-out drink at the small Abrigo Bar in front of the cosy fireplace.

Directions

From Portimão you travel 22 km north, direction Monchique and Fóia. The Abrigo da Montanha Inn is located on the Estrada de Foia in the Monchique Mountains, six km away from Fóia (998m high) and 3 km from the Monchique Village Centre.

Fóia is the Algarve highest point, from there you can achieve the best sightseeing panoramic from the Algarve and Alentejo as well.
