WELCOME TO OUR HOSTEL ON KVARNTORGET!

Location:
Our hostel at Kvarntorget is located at 10 minutes' walking distance from the city centre, where you find the most impressive tourist attractions such as the cathedral from the 13th centrury and the castle from the 16th century. Uppsala is a tranquil daytime alternative to the capital, with a delightful river-cut centre, not to mention an active student-geared nightlife.
The hostel is located at walking distance from the bus station and the railway station, from which you can reach the international airport in 15 minutes and Stockholm in 35 minutes. The hostel is also easy to reach by car and there is free parking in the area.

Facilities:
Our guests have access to Uppsal's largest lobby (400 m2), where breakfast is served in the morning and where you can relax during the day. There are two restaurants in the building (Restaurang Kvarntorget and Oliv’O’Mat) and within a 10 minute walking distance you find plenty of other restaurants serving everything from Swedish specialities to international dishes. If you prefer to prepare your meals yourself there is a fully equipped common kitchen in the hotel. You can find a convenience store in the building.
Next to the reception you find a mini library where you can borrow books and magazines during your stay here. If you have a lap top you may surf on our wireless internet for free. Common washing machine and tumble dryer available.
In the building there are also hairdressers and a masseur. Why not surprise your friend, husband or wife with a visit to the masseur during your stay here?

The reception is open for check in between 04.00-07.00 o'clock p.m. Please contact us 1-2 days in advance if you want to check in earlier or later.

Directions

FROM THE RAILWAY / BUS STATION:
Walk east towards the new concert- & congress hall. Turn right on Vaksalagatan and walk approx. 300m until you reach Torkelsgatan. Turn left on Torkelsgatan and walk 100m, turn right on Kvarntorgsgatan.
