The location of elegant Vacation House, at 28 kms from Arezzo and not far from Siena, on the edge of the Chianti wine region and of Umbria, is perfect to visit the glorious Tuscan countryside and many cities of art of Tuscany and of central Italy: Florence, Rome, Perugia, Assisi, Cortona, Ravenna, Orvieto, Trasimeno Lake, attainable through the E45 speedway, situated only 3 kms from the villa.

For art-lovers, in this area there are Signorelli, Perugino, Pinturicchio frescos in addition to the 'Piero della Francesca trail' around Arezzo, Sansepolcro & Monterchi. There are a number of music festivals in the region, including Umbria Jazz in Perugia in July. Lakes Trasimeno and Montedoglio provide water-sports, trips to islands & a small beach. For history-lovers there is interest everywhere, with Etruscan tombs, Roman remains and medieval city-centres. Torre del Guado Country House is an impressive stone manor house, located outside of medieval cities of Anghiari and Sansepolcro birthplace of the great Piero della Francesca, in panoramic position in the picturesque landscape northeast of Arezzo, a natural amphitheatre of wild and uncontaminated beauty.
This historical building, dating back to the 13th century, has been just converted into a warm and refined country holiday villa, furnished of all the benefits of modern technology, available for a relaxing and invigorating holiday in the green landscape of Tuscany, or to use a base to discover the numerous and magnificent cultural and artistic sights nearby.
Now the Holiday Home, set in beautifully maintained gardens with a large ecological swimming pool, features: 5 self-catering vacation-accommodations, each one with fireplace and individually designed, open barbecue, private parking and spacious reception rooms for: meeting, ceremonies (with service catering.
Museums, cultural sites, thermal baths, golf, tennis courts, horse-riding and nearby restaurants are available at a short driving distance.
