Ely Minnesotas premiere Boundary Waters Canoe Outfitter, Wilderness Outfitters Inc., serves the BWCA, Quetico Provincial Park, and surrounding areas. In addition, Wilderness Outfitters operates several Canadian Outposts in Ontario, Canada, offering pristine waters, virgin forests, and unparalleled sunsets, paradise for anglers and wilderness enthusiasts alike.
Typical Day
We know the canoe routes and can recommend and outfit trips to fit your personal needs and trip itinerary.
We have outfitted thousands of satisfied customers who return year after year to enjoy the canoe country and our personal service again and again.
Age range, type of group
Whatever your preference, there is a Wilderness Outfitters trip for you. Experience is not an important factor.
Sleeping and meals
It is evident in our superior gear- Souris-River, We-no-nah, Eureka, Therma-Rest, just to name a few of the high quality brand names with which we outfit our customers. Each piece of equipment, food and accessories has been personally hand-tested by our staff and guides.
Restrictions
Because permits are required to camp in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and the Quetico Provincial Park, early reservations are recommended.
