Description of Active Adventure

From beginner to expert, Sylvan Rocks has something for everyone. We can get you started rock climbing, put you on the Summit of Devils Tower or enjoy the beautiful uncrowded classic routes of the Needles in Custer State Park.
We teach the skills needed for a lifetime of adventure.

Typical Day

We meet you at the climbing area of choice with our mobile office filled with all the gear we will need for a great day on the rocks. Come in sit down, get suited up with climbing shoes, harness, and helmet before heading out.

Age range, type of group

Sylvan Rocks provides services to groups from 1 to 30. Ages range from 5 yrs old to one brave woman over 80 who climbed Devils Tower with us. Truly inspiring. Rock Climbing is something that friends and family can all come together and enjoy ate their own level.

Sleeping and meals

3 to 8+ hour activities to fit all types of schedules and climbing goals. Spend a week with us, climb all types of terrain and really get comfortable using the skills we teach.

Restrictions

Parents mus accompany young children.
