Description of Sailboat
The "Pitta" is a custom made houseboat designed specifically for navigating shallow 'klongs' to explore the mangrove areas around Phuket, and also to island hop to the many beautiful islands that are to be found in the area. It has 2 cabins, a saloon, eating / recreation deck, kayaks, swimming ladder, hammocks and more.
Destinations
Phang Nga bay, Chalong bay, Andaman Sea and many other areas.
Typical Day
A typical day will see you interacting with wildlife such as monkeys, visiting fish farms, bird watching, eating freash seafood, swimming, kayaking, hiking, snorkelling, relaxing, and maybe a wee bit of drinking.
Age range, type of group
No age range. Singles, couples and families welcome. Children are more than welcome.
Sleeping and meals
Sleeping in cabins, cots, and hammocks.
Restrictions
No smoking below deck. Some pets welcome.
Rates & Availability
Rates are from $550 USD per day - per boat. Sailing boats are also available.
Price is based on pick up from Cape Town. If you are staying in Gansbaai it is cheaper.
