Cathead Bay, with dune grass-fringed beaches lapped by tranquil waters of Lake Michigan, combines an idyllic secluded lakeside hideaway with close proximity to a host of activities Northern Michigan has to offer. Cathead Bay Vacation properties are all located at the "Tip of the Little Finger" of the Leelanau Peninsula on Lake Michigan. Leelanau, a Native American term that means "land of delight", appropriately represents the splendid nature of this region. What's more, unlike the pebbled or rocky coastline so typical to Lake Michigan, access to the waters of Cathead Bay is by way of smooth, endless, white, sandy beaches.
With three diverse and comfortable cottages all nestled on their private beach, a vacation in any one of Cathead Bay Vacation properties will create memories to last a lifetime. Choose from the cozy Cat's Meow; the more spacious Cathead Cove, roomy enough to accommodate 8; or the rambling Cathead Pointe, an entertainer's delight with sleeping quarters for a group of 10. Each cottage boasts tasteful décor, modern conveniences, seclusion and privacy.
