Active Adventure

We offer a variety of rides along the White Nile, in Uganda, East Africa. The incredible scenery takes in rivers, stream crossing, jungle and rainforest riding, wonderful local people, massive views from the tops of hills overlooking Lake Victoria, plenty of areas for galloping and incredible horses. We cater for beginners and advanced riders alike.

Typical Day

On our 2 or 3 hours safaris, we trek along the banks of the Nile, through villages, up sugar cane covered hills and do a stream crossing. On overnight and multiday safaris we go much further afield, also swimming the horses and riding deep in Mabira Forest, where monkeys and exotic birds and butterflies are in abundance

Age range, type of group

Min age is 5 years for short rides. We cater for all ages and abilities.

Sleeping and meals

A range of accommdation from camping to luxury lodge is available.

Restrictions

Min age 5 years for short safaris. Multi-day safari riders should be of a minimum intermediate experience. No pets allowed. 90kg weight limit
