Covered Wagon Ranch is a family guest ranch that offers mountain riding for anyone's ability. We ride in Yellowstone Park, and Gallatin National Forest. We also provide overnight horse pack trip adventures in the Rocky Mountains. Guests can expect to see wildlife such as Elk, Moose, Deer, Eagles, possible Wolves, and Bears. We cater to all levels of riding ability, keep our groups very small and according to riding skills. We are definitely not a "nose to tail" operation. Our Ranch Manager, Jeremy Young, is a skilled horse clinician and teaches all levels of riding ability.

Each private cabin is cozy and rustic engulfing thier guests with nostalgic feelings of what it must have been like when these cabins were built.. They have maintained their historic nature but upgraded to very comfortable, aesthetic surroundings.A short walk to the main lodge seems neccessary for the amount of food consumed in one visit! Supper is our most elegant and family-like. Our ranch is famed by guests who have visited in the past and revered by employees of the ranch!
