Surrounding Area

Santa Lucia Social Club is located in the historic district of Granada. Located 1 1/2 blocks from the beautiful blue Iglesia San Francisco. Next door to the church is the museum. 2 1/2 blocks away is Parque Central, the main square in Granada. There you will find the cathedral, e mail cafes, restaurants and the Tres Mundos culural center. In Granada you can take rides on horse drawn carriages for touring the city or to use as a taxi. Regular taxi cabs are also available and inexpensive. Lake Nicaragua is a few blocks away. The popular attraction is a boat ride or kayaking on the lake to visit some of the 350 isletas. Buses, taxis and transport services are available to take you to Catarina and San Juan de Oriente. This towns are famous for their nusuries, flowers and pottery.

Accommodations

Santa Lucia Social Club is its own little resort type compound. It has three buildings. A front building which houses OLE. A boutique shop which sells gifts, accessories and tropical climate clothing made by local families in Nicaragua. Followed by a garden, the second building has two guest rooms downstairs and an apartment with a full kitchen and balcony upstairs. We have a large swimming pool, wireless, and cable tv located inside of a palapa used as a common area.
The last building is a large home with gourmet kitchen, b b q, pizza oven, and two large bedrooms upstairs with balcony. All rooms have fans, some have air conditioning.

Rooms/Suites

Casa Arriba = Apartment bedroom is a king size bed. Large living room dining area and full kitchen.
One guest room Casita Jose) downstairs has two double beds, the other(Casita Galina) has a queen bed. Both bedrooms in the large home called Casa Lydia have king size beds with large bathrooms. Hot water throughout. Whichever room you choose, you have complete privacy

Amenities

Large modern swimming pool that works for adults as well as children. Garden for relaxing, as well as a large palapa for napping or watching tv. Beverages available for sale. Wireless and cable.

From Convento San Francisco, walk one block toward the arroyo and turn right. Walk 1 1/2 blocks
