Riverside Adventures Ltd. makes your rafting experience authentic by offering you: smaller diversified groups, personalized guiding & safety, challenging whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, unique wilderness & wildlife and side hikes to waterfalls. All rafting trips use the best river gear available and are led by rafting professionals with outstanding guiding expertise and a vast knowledge of Wells Gray Provincial Park.

Typical Day

3 hours tour in the Canyon lands of Wells Gray Park.

Age range, type of group

All group types are welcome although recommended minimum age is 7 years old. Capacity varies with the size and style of river craft. Rafts: maximum 12 per boat (we now have 7 rafts), Voyageur Canoe: maximum of 9, Inflatable Kayaks: maximum of 2 per boat (we have numerous kayaks). We also cater to families and special events (birthdays, weddings, corporate gatherings etc.)

Sleeping and meals

We offer a private Guest House overlooking the river for private family friendly accommodations if required. Includes full kitchen facility, covered porch with BBQ overlooking the Clearwater River, dinning and living space, large bathroom and bedroom.

Restrictions

On our Clearwater & North Thompson whitewater river trips, the recommended age is 7 years old. Most importantly, children must weigh at least fifty pounds (20 kg.). On the more gentile river sections, we can take children as young as 4 years old. Each river adventure package, dependent on river levels and section chosen, has a different minimum age, which can be easily determined by contacting us.

Robert and Liana Beaudry have been operating a river rafting business on the Clearwater River in Wells Gray Park for over 20 years now which gives them the best local knowledge as well as a clean safety record. Robert has been active as a winter ski guide and whitewater rafting instructor for numerous Adventure Guide Diploma programs around the province since 1990. Liana run a Guest House overlooking the Clearwater River right by the river rafting take-out location. It is a unique private setting that will give you a real feel for the Wells Gray Park area.
