Typical Day

This summer, you can take an extraordinary journey. Tune up your
bike, pack your bags, and join fellow riders from all over the world
for an incredible excursion across Oregon, utilizing the most
sustainable method of transportation available: your own bike.

-- Be a part of an incredible traveling community of people coming
from a great variety of backgrounds and ages with a shared longing
for a better world.

-- Study and apply the philosophies of permaculture, green building,
small-scale economics, sustainable energy and intentional living.

-- Observe local economics projects and grassroots democracy
struggles in the communities you visit.

-- Gain a deeper understanding of how your food is grown by speaking
with the people who grow your organic food and supporting their
work.

-- Through hands-on service projects with leaders of the
sustainability movement, contribute and be the change.

-- Participate in incredible townhall-style discussions on basic
grassroots democracy concerns in the communities where we travel.

-- Learn about nutrition, health and fitness through long-distance
cycling while visiting beautiful public lands and gaining
experience in low-impact camping.

-- Explore and camp in some of the most incredibly beautiful places
in Oregon while learning about natural history and environmental
ethics.
