Description of Surrounding Area

Lewiston is located in North Central Idaho. The communities of Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington are one mile apart, separated by the Clearwater River. The community houses approximately 60,000 residents. The downtown area of Lewiston is home to several eateries, and has small-town charm. There are many local events throughout the summer.

Residents and visitors enjoy all types of water sports, biking, walking, golfing, camping, and many other activities.

Description of Accommodations

Clearwater Hall is located in downtown Lewiston at 410 Main Street. The residence hall area is on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of the hall.

Small green area on the 2nd floor entrance; bike racks, smoking area. Free parking on "D" Street on the 400 block, or on "F" Street, nearby.

Description of Rooms/Suites

Built in 2006, Clearwater Hall holds 117 residents in 32 suites. Each suite includes a shared living room/kitchenette space and bathroom, surrounded by 4 individual bedrooms. The bedrooms are completely furnished with a super-single bed, study desk and chair, and wardrobe. There is wireless internet provided in each bedroom. The general living space is furnished with a sofa, coffee table, dining table and chairs, as well as a full-size refrigerator and microwave oven.

Coin-operated laundry facilities are housed on the 2nd floor of the building.

Amenities

Lewiston offers several restaurants, fast-food restaurants and nightclubs. World Class Fitness, World Gym and Adcope are three of the fitness centers offered in Lewiston.
There are many fast-food restaurants and full service restaurants with a variety of foods. There is swimming provided along the river, or a full aquatic center in nearby Clarkston.

Bicycle Dealers are Folletts Mountain Sports, Pedals-n-Spokes, and T & T Bikes to name a few.

Services Offered

None provided. We have a custodian who cleans the hallway and laundry room, but the individual rooms do not have cleaning available. We clean the rooms between visitor stays.

Restrictions

No pets, No smoking, No candles or open flame of any kind

This facility is a residence hall during the academic year and we do have staff living in the facility in the summer. The building is secured by cardlock entrances and suites.

All visitors are expected to follow posted procedures.

Located at 410 Main Street in Lewiston, Idaho. You will need to pick up keys at 814 4th Street in Lewiston, which is the Office of Residence Life on the Lewis-Clark State College campus.
