Gecko Villa is set in over 60,000sqm of private grounds, with a walled garden and a large variety of mango, banana, passion fruit and other plants including chillis, papaya, galangal, herbs and more!

The large air-conditioned living & dining room, with Satellite TV (BBC, CNN, TV5 etc.), CD player and sound system, has extensive wooden decks and outside seating.

The Villa has a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, kettle, coffee maker, hob and oven. The kitchen is separated into a formal Western style kitchen and an open-air Thai kitchen, set off a spacious balcony for al fresco dining, when preferred. Barbecues can be arranged here.

Your own pool is finished in hand-made tiles, in mottled hues of green from celadon to emerald.

The property and grounds are serviced daily. We understand that you are on a well-earned vacation and will do our best to make our house your Thai home. If you would like to see and experience local lifestyles and traditions, do let us know. And should you prefer privacy - again, just inform us!

There is a large air-conditioned Master Bedroom with teak King Sized bed, en suite W.C. & sink, and adjoining garden shower. The second air-conditioned bedroom also has an en suite W.C. and shower shared with the third air-conditioned bedroom.

Gecko Villa is situated in the Northeast of Thailand, near Udon Thani.

Depending on your travel plans, we will be pleased to help you plan your trip and of course to pick you up from Udorn Thani (25 minutes away).

By air:
Thai Airways have three daily flights (50 minutes) from Bangkok on Airbus or Boeing aircraft. Air Asia and Nok Air have cheap flights from Bangkok to Udon when booked in advance. Budget airline Tiger Airways has three flights a week non-stop from Singapore.

By train:
Several daily trains from Bangkok each with three classes (approximately 9 hours)

By road:
From Bangkok, a fascinating fly-drive via Khao Yai National Park & Korat. Alternatively, drive straight to Gecko Villa from Nong Khai if arriving from Vientiane, the capital of Laos.
