Description of Surrounding Area

Hiawassee, Ga. and the surrounding area has something for everyone. White water rafting, cool river tubing, horseback riding, 4 very nice golf courses, many hiking trails and waterfalls are just the beginning. Excellent restaurants of all price ranges are within minutes of Serenity Cove. Shopping including antique shopping abounds. The N. Ga. Mtn. Fairgrounds offer several fairs and many concerts through the year. A huge indoor amusement park as well as a 6 screen movie theater can entertain you in the evening or a rainy day.

Description of Vacation Rental Property

Serenity Cove lies directly on the shores of 7600 acre Lake Chatuge. From the property you may swim from our own swimming platform or fish from the bank and dock. We have 2 pontoons available for rent at discounted prices for our guests. You may also bring your own boat. We have a boat ramp right here. A hot tub in the courtyard provides relaxation after a day of activity. Large grass areas provide a soft beach to enjoy the sun or maybe a vollyball game.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

Each of the 4 cabins are the same, except 2 cabins have queen sleep sofas in the living room and 2 do not. Each has a master bedroom with king size bed, a loft bedroom with 2 singles and one bath. Each has full kitchens with microwave, coffee maker and all utensils. Each have covered porches with rocking chairs and full lakefront & mountain views.

The large lake house has 3 bedrooms with queen beds as well as a queen sofa bed in the den. It also has 2 full baths, eat in kitchen, dining room , living room, covered porch w/rockers as well as a large carport.

All units have fireplaces (wood provided free in the winter), weber charcoal grills and lighted parking.

Amenities

All units have stereo flat screen tv's with dvd/cd players. Free wireless internet access is provided. A seasonal laundry is available. A public phone is available, but please bring your cell phone for in unit use and most providers are available. A movie store is located nearby for rentals.

Once again, all cooking and eating utensils are provided, as well as linens and towels.

Restrictions

No pets are allowed (although we love them!).
Smoking is available on the covered porches and outside areas, but not inside the units.
