Welcome and Karibu to Msafiri Cottages a family run guest house located 45 minutes drive from Mombasa - Moi International Airport and only 5 minutes walking distance from the Indian Ocean. We offer best possible value accommodation and a outstanding information for this amazing country - Kenya.



Our aim is to introduce a homely place where travellers can meet and exchange their travel experience by offering a warm, friendly and safe place with affordable accommodation. We cater for the independent and budget travellers, backpacker, families and those who wants to visit Kenya without spending their life saving.

Description of Accommodations

Msafiri Cottages is designed to offer a relaxing stay to help you unwind from the hussle and bussle of busy schedule of life. We have 6 cottages (a total of 24 rooms) all en-suit with either doubles or twins (extra bed can also be added). All suites are spacious fan-cooled, simple decorations, bathroom and shower and walk-in wardrobe.

With no television or telephone, you can enjoy your freedom from these modern distractions. Each room has a private veranda offering shade, where you can read, write your diary, arrange itinerary for your next destination or simply enjoy the quietness of the calming surroundings.

Amenities

Msafiri Cottages is a budget accommodation, but when it comes to food, we have paid particular detail to providing as high standard of cuisine as we can get locally. We offer breakfast, all day snacks lunch and daily a la carte for dinner is available provided we are given some notice. The dinner menu is freshly prepared every afternoon. In order to always serve fresh food the dinner dishes varies with the catch of the day from our local fishermen, fresh meat, vegetables and fruit depending on the season. All at a very affordable price.

Services Offered

Our unsuited rooms are based on bed and continental breakfast, however, we also provide a wide range of breakfast at an affordable price. Menu includes freshly made coffee or tea, fresh fruits, variety of freshly squeezed juices, smoothies, full English breakfast of your choice - eggs, bacon, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, sausages (vegetarian option available), pancakes served with honey etc.

Lunch

Our extensive all day menu offers includes local food, pasta dishes, pizza, curry dishes, sandwiches, french fries, burgers, grilled vegetables, bar snacks and many more.

Dinner

Each day we prepare the daily dinner menu around the fresh and finest ingredients available on the day. It will typically include the fresh catch of the day from our local fishermen, fresh meat, vegetables, fruits depending on the season and desserts.


The restaurant will have an eating and a chilling area where to relax , enjoy the sea view and the breeze from the Indian Ocean..
