At Pelican Cove, year-round sunshine assures plenty of outdoor activities, beginning with a swim in the hotels fresh water pool or snorkeling in the adjacent salt water lagoon . Later, relax in the ocean front Jacuzzi or play some tennis . The poolside tiki bar serves cool drinks and snacks to sun worshippers . Visit the outdoor Cabana Cafe for lunch and enjoy a commanding view of the crystal blue sea . The primary attraction, of course, is the ocean itself, and Pelican Cove offers every form of water sports activity one can imagine . Zoom across the water on a wave runner or snorkel and scuba dive the continental United States only living coral reef . Water craft of every size are available to rent and both back country and deep sea fishing boats are docked in the marina . Please note that rates are based on double occupancy . There is an extra person fee of USD 20 . 00 per night per person, with a maximum of four guests per room . Additionally there is a $20 per day resort fee that will be collected at check-in and will include Wi-Fi, Continental Breakfast and access to non-motorized sports .
