After traveling around the world for 30 years, Cris Glenz utilized the best ideas in decoration and built the Glenzhaus Lodge. In 2006 only one year after Glenzhaus opened, the hotel was nominated as one of the bests lodges in Brazil, among eleven other nominees. In 2007, the hotel was nominated for the award of excellence, Conde Nast Johansens, as the best lodge of South America. The lodge is located 700 meters from Rua das Pedras, the most popular street in Buzios. The Glenzhaus Lodge has introduced a level of luxury and hospitality without precedents in Buzios.
