Minimalist, elegant and along the beach, the well located Galaxy Hotel is in beautiful Alimos and has the advantage of being very close and easily accessible to the center of Athens. The 2 stars hotel operates since 1970 in Alimos, a suburb of the capital of Greece, only 10km from the centre of Athens. The hotel lobby reception and dining room are all very bright due to the extensive surrounding windows, giving a spacious and airy feel. The interior style has a minimalist decor with light oak wood flooring throughout, contemporary leather sofas and stylish lighting. Galaxy Hotel achieves elegance through simplicity. This style extends to the carefully appointed guestrooms.
The hotel has 46 rooms divided in 45 twin rooms and 1 suite. Our rooms feature modern amenities including soundproof windows, safe deposit boxes, climate control, hair dryer, satellite TV, direct dial phone, balcony, mini bar, shower. Most of the rooms have unlimited view to the Saronic Gulf. The staff is friendly and helpful; ready to meet the requirements of our guests at all times. Other hotel amenities: doctor on call, the suite can meet disabled requirements, breakfast is 7.30-10.30, 46% of rooms are non smoking. Opposite the hotel, just in front of the sea there is a park where you can take a relaxing walk, let your children play in the newly built playground (one of the best in Athens) or even swim in the beach, which is only 50m from our premises. Very close is also the Marina of Alimos, the largest marina in Greece to rent a sailing yacht and explore the beautiful sea of the Aegean and the world famous Greek islands.
The commercial area is only two minutes walk and you can find almost everything you will need. Hairdresser, dry cleaner, banks, shops etc.
During your stay with us we can arrange a guided sightseeing of Athens or a journey with a group to the centre of Greece. Small daily cruises to the island close to Athens or even multi day cruise to Cyclades, Dodecanese and Turkey. We can also help you rent a car, help you issue a ticket to almost anywhere, find out about schedules for ships, trains and buses.

You have up to 2days prior to arrival to cancel the reservation without charge. If the reservation is cancelled within 48 hours prior to arrival you will be charged 1 night stay. Same day cancellations, no shows or early check out will result in 1 night charge. Payment: credit card will be charged on arrival day.

After leaving the Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Airport drive in western direction towards Athens. The capital of Greece is of course well signposted and easy to be found. The hotel is located in the centre of town, so following the signs for centre will take you very near to the proximity of the hotel.

BY BUS:
No E96 (Bording outside the ARRIVALS TERMINAL between exits 4 and 5).

Every 20' (05:00 - 19:00)

- The ticket costs 3 i and is valid for 24 hours for every means of public transportation (buses and Metro). You can only buy the ticket on the bus. Get off at the 3rd station Kalamaki. From there the hotel is about 50m walk.

BY UNDERGROUND(METRO):
Take line No2 and get off at Dafni station and from there bus No 103 or 141 and get off at the end of the route (about 4Km from Dafni) in Kalamaki (Alimos). The hotel is only one block away.

BY BUS, METRO OR TRAM:
No: 101 - A1 - B1 (Get off at Kalamaki 3rd bus stop).
A bus ticket costs 0,45 euros per route per person and you can only buy tickets from the kiosks that sell newspapers and not on the bus.
An underground (METRO) ticket costs 0,70 euros per route per person and you can buy tickets on each station.
A tram ticket costs 0,60 euros per route per person and you can buy it in every stop from the automatic machines. Buses and Metro run until approximately 23:00. Trams run from Sunday to Thursday from 05:00 - 01:00 and Friday and Saturday 24 hours.
