We stayed in the ensuite which is a private apartment. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed during our stay. People at Bikebase were nice and helpful. They also have a bike rental shop. ... more

Our ENSUITE is only 5 minutes walk from our headquarter!! A fully equipped private apartment with free Wi-Fi internet, kitchen and bathroom with shower, for those who like to be independent!
Please note: This is on 3rd floor, no lift!
We are located in the city center, district VI., just 2 minutes walk from the VIBRANT PART of the city packed with many pubs, bars, restaurants, art cinemas, theaters,.... good places where locals go.
You will also have the advantage to find major sights, like the Opera House, the Parliament, Andr�ssy Avenue and Heroes\' Square within walking distance.
Furthermore we are close to one of the last remaining typical fruit & vegetable markets of Budapest.
Our luminous private rooms are ideal for those who seek a restful spot to have a break from the crowded places. So if you are looking for a hostel to party and meet lot of people, than sorry we are not for you.
Clean bedding and towels, of course, are included in the price.
In the good equipped kitchen you will always find tea, coffee, sugar, home-made jam, basic ingredients and spices.
Please note: You can not check-in after 21h!
And you can not arrive to us before 9h!
Only cash payment & on arrival!
Our staff speaks English, French, Italian, bit of German and of course Hungarian :)

From NYUGATI train station:
- walk 1 block on Teréz körút towards Oktogon square
- turn right on Podmaniczky street
- walk 50 meters and on the left side look for the BIKEBASE sign, find the bike shop and you have found us!
From KELETI train station:
- take the TROLLEY bus number 73 (do not take the blue bus, the trolley bus is RED and the stop is in a street called Garay utca!!)
- get off at the 8th stop called Teréz körút
- walk ahead 60 meters and on the left side look for the BIKEBASE sign, find the bike shop and you have found us!
OR after 9pm
- take the underground M2 (red line) direction Déli to Blaha Lujza tér (1 stop)
- change to tram number 4 or 6 direction Moszkva tér
- get off at Nyugati station (4 stops)
- walk back 1 block on Teréz körút towards Oktogon square
- turn right on Podmaniczky street
- walk 50 meters and on the left side look for the BIKEBASE sign, find the bike shop and you have found us!
From NÉPLIGET bus station:
- take the underground M3 (blue line) direction Újpest to Nyugati station (8 stops)
- walk 1 block on Teréz körút towards Oktogon square
- turn right on Podmaniczky street
walk 50 meters and on the left side look for the BIKEBASE sign, find the bike shop and you have found us!
From AIRPORT:
- take the Reptér Busz number 200E to Köbánya-Kispest,
- take the underground M3 (blue line) to Nyugati station (12 stops)
- walk 1 block on Teréz körút towards Oktogon square
- turn right on Podmaniczky street
walk 50 meters and on the left side look for the BIKEBASE sign, find the bike shop and you have found us!
OR
- buy a ticket for the Airport Minibus. One way costs 2490HUF/person, return ticket is 4390HUF/person.
OR
for just one way and for more than 1 person is more convenient to take a FŐTAXI, they have fix price airport transfer for 5100HUF
OR
if you arrive to AIRPORT 1, you can take the train to Nyugati train station for 455/365HUF.
In case you take a taxi: avoid private taxis. On normal taxis the prices are written on the side window. Always ask for the price before boarding. From Keleti train station for example should be around 2000HUF.
