Welcome to Bolod's Guesthouse!

Operating since 2000, our guesthouse is one of the most centrally-located in Ulaanbaatar, just opposite the Central Post Office and only one minute's walk from Sukhbaatar Square. We're in a great, safe location, perfect for exploring this great city.

We are delighted to help you book tours and adventures like tank driving and visits to shooting and grenade ranges. We can create tours tailor-made to your desires and with our experience and knowledge of Mongolia, we can find the best and most interesting and unusual things to do while you're here!

We're located in a three-story house with an open space in front of the building that prevents non-residents from entering. One of our windows looks straight out onto this front space, giving you the ideal chance to watch the world go by as you relax in the comfort of our accommodation.

We have dormitory rooms with up to 8 beds each. We provide a fully-equipped kitchen, hot showers, a washing machine and a library of information on Mongolia, Siberia and Central Asia.

Bolod himself is a native Mongol who grew up in a Nomad family, so he's familiar with the Mongolian landscape and the nomadic lifestyle. He's travelled all over Mongolia, working as a tour guide for eight years before opening our hostel. We speak fluent English, Italian, Russian and French and are happy to tell you all about the history of Mongolia!

Directions

We are located just opposite the Central Post Office and only one minute's walk from Sukhbaatar Square in Ulaanbaatar, betweenthe Post Office and Drama Theatre. You will see a big sign for 'Bolod's Guesthouse and Tours' on a balcony and window of a three-story white building. It's on the second floor in a building is called 61C.
