Three words can best describe Momotown guest accommodation: clean, basic and private.

Except cleanliness, that is always our priority, our biggest strength lies in an excellent location - we are in the most beautiful street of the most happening part of town called Kazimierz. Most of our rooms have street side windows (no car traffic though), and if it is also views you are after, please let us know while making your booking. Each room has its own bathroom, free Wi-Fi access, and there is a shared kitchenette.

Enjoying what Kazimierz has to offer alone justifies couple of days in Krakow, and the only truly must-see place - really impressing, the biggest medieval square in Europe - is only 10-minute walk away. About distances: getting to the main train/bus station takes 15 minutes or 5 stops in a tram. A space by the hostel serves as a safe parking lot, and also as a relaxation area under umbrellas.

Big advantage of staying in our guest rooms is access to Momotown social life in our hostel, which is located just around the corner. There you can join international backpackers crowd karaoking, grilling, cooking, even drinking and having any other kind of fun. Our 24/7 reception provides help in need, and has tickets for dozens of tours in and outside of Krakow.

Directions

This is how to get to Momotown Hostel reception where we will check you in and direct to Momotown Privates, which is around the corner:

From the airport take a shuttle train to the main train/bus station.

From there, we suggest you take a tram either no. 50 or 51. It is an underground tram and the entrance to the stop is from train station platform no. 1 (the same which a shuttle train from the airport gets you on). You need to take a tram with directions "Kurdwanow" or "Biezanow Nowy", get off at fifth stop called "Miodowa", turn right into ulica Miodowa and procced to number 28. You can buy tickets form machines inside a tram, and just remember to validate them.

Walking from the train/bus station lasts approximately 15 minutes. You need to get to the underground passage situated in front of the main train station building. Leaving to the left, take ulica Westerplatte and get to the big Post Office building, then take a left into ulica Starowislna (not to confuse with ulica Wielopole), cross ulica Dietla and straight along ulica Starowislna get to ulica Miodowa. Now you only need to make a right - we are at number 28.

Taxistands are located above train station platforms, in front of the bus station building, or in front of the shopping centre. Expect to pay no more then around PLN 20 (c. 5 euro).
