Situated at Las Galeras, in the most extremely north-east place in the Samana's Peninsula, the cottages are surrounded from the most wonderful and loneliness beaches of the Dominican Republic. Thanks to the geographic isolation, this fishermen village is away from mass tourism and the best for ecological tourism.

In this sea the whales arrive since January to March, choosing these waters to reproduce themselves.

Chalet Tropical Village, is a complex of 3 cottages, built in a very unusual tropical way, with precious finish and excellent attention for the details. Recently built (January2006-2009), on 2 floors, all made in wood and naturals stones and shalls, with a huge of 2500m2, immerse in the tropical greenery, in the place most quietness of the Dom. Rep, for the real lovers of the nature.

Rooms/Suites

In the Chalets can sleep from 1 up to a maximum of 7 people.
Chalet 1 and 2 can host up to 5 peple, all into one open and comfortable space, with 1 bathroom.
Chalet 3 has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, to host up to 7 people. This is the only one where there is even the aircondition.

In the kitchen there are coffe- maker, mixer, rustic gas-stove.

At Las Galeras you can come by bus, car, taxi or plane. Contact us and we will easily help you to choose the most worthwhile and comfortable means of transport, depending on your arrival destination (Samaná, Santo Domingo, Santiago, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana o La Romana) and on your demands.
The closest International Airport is El Catey of Samana (AZS) at 1 hour from Las Galeras(but it has not so much company which land in it). The second best airport for transfers ( with more opportunity to fly in, with JetBlue, Spirit, American Airlines, ...) is Santo Domingo (SDQ), with about 2/3 hours of travel.
