Description of Active Adventure

5 or 7 night all inclusive vacations for groups of 6-8 people—enjoy a scheduled vacation, or customize and schedule your own vacation.

Located at the Caribbean home of the retreat leaders, Florian Villa. Florian Villa is a beautifully decorated villa overlooking the Caribbean Ocean with breathtaking sunset views.

Large pool and outdoor wet bar, air-conditioned bedrooms, private bathrooms, expansive decks, indoor and outdoor dining areas, cable/internet. All of this is for you to enjoy during your retreat.

Do as much or as little as you like….on basic retreats, retreat leaders will offer daily yoga and meditation, guided hikes through the National Forest, guided snorkels, and a day-long boat ride around the island. You may customize the retreat to have more or less intensity of any of the following: SCUBA, snorkel, hiking, kayaking, boating, yoga/meditation.

You may also relax by the pool or at the beach, shop at the duty-free boutiques, and golf on St. Thomas.

Gourmet breakfasts and dinner will be served daily and are included in the cost of the retreat. Cocktails, beer, wine and smoothies are also included.

Typical Day

Examples of Daily Activities:

Trunk Bay Beach and Snorkel - Trunk Bay Beach is considered one of the top 10 beaches in the world. Trunk Bay snorkeling is great for beginner snorkelers - with a spectacular underwater guided tour of the coral reefs and fish.

Private boat ride around the island - includes stops for optional snorkeling, lunch at Skinny Legs Restaurant (best sandwiches and burgers on the island)

Reef Bay Hike - 90 minute hike to one of the most secluded beaches on the island

Waterlemon Bay Hike and Snorkel - a 1/2 hour hike to a quiet beach with snorkeling - beginner and more advanced snorkeling opportunities. This was the site of Deb's dolphin encounter!

Tekite Hike and Snorkel - for the more adventurous...this is a rugged hike that includes some rock scrambling down to the water. But the hike is worth it for arguably the best snorkeling on the island!

Shopping in St. Thomas - take the 40 minute ferry ride to some of the best duty-free shopping in the word.

Other Activities - Scuba diving, kayaking, watching sports at the sports bar in Cruz Bay, golf on St. Thomas

(Activities will vary by retreat, if you have particular preferences, please be sure to let the retreat leaders know in advance.)

Perfect for families (kids 16 and older, please), couples, friends, wedding parties, singles, corporate groups.

Sleeping and meals

All-inclusive, gourmet meals served at the villa, transportation to/from airport, all rental gear included, transportation around the island included.

Rates

Per person based on double occupancy: $2,500-$3,800 for a week (all-inclusive). Regular rental rates (accommodations only) range from $3,500-$6,500 for the entire villa.
