Our country-style self-catering vacation homes, EL SEQUER & XAYMACA, are located on the outskirts of the small and quaint Spanish village of BENIMELI, a few miles inland from DENIA on Alicante's Costa Blanca. Benimeli is situated in the lush citrus, olive & avocado growing Rectoria valley of Alicante's Marina Alta region, only 10 Kms from some of the finest and still unspoilt sand-dune beaches along the Mediterranean coast. This rural setting, where you will discover the real and authentic Spain, where centuries old traditions are still respected, is surrounded by a semicircle of mountains, and crisscrossed by the Girona river, yet well connected with other coastal resort towns and Valencia, Alicante, Madrid & the rest of Spain via the AP7 motorway.
The village offers all commodities and amenities for residents and visitors alike.
Within a radius of 3 - 30 Kms. there are: 3 nature parks, magnificent beaches, 4 golf courses, walking and cycling routes; prehistoric caves, castles, vestiges of Roman & Moorish settlements, potteries; 4 theme and water parks, excellent restaurants and wineries, local markets, etc.

EL SEQUER & XAYMACA are two traditional Spanish country homes dating back to the late 19th century. EL SEQUER & XAYMACA, have been specially created for discerning travellers looking for that "special holiday retreat", away from mass resorts, where the true essence of the country (Spain) can be enjoyed. They have been charmingly & beautifully restored respecting traditional architectural features and materials while incorporating modern installations for a comfortable and pleasant stay so that our guests feel immediately at home. Both vacation homes are completely independent from each other on the outskirts of Benimeli village.
EL SEQUER (with a capacity for 2-4 persons) has two double bedrooms, one full bathroom with whirlpool bath, living-dining room with comfy sofas, fireplace and fully equipped kitchen. Outdoors, there is a shady terrace overlooking the valley, ideal for outdoor meals and watching spectacular sunsets or listening to the "sounds of silence".
A secluded garden with private swimming pool, bbq area, fruit orchard & private onsite parking complete this haven of tranquillity. Formerly a traditional farmhouse where raisins were produced, this charming cottage is a true home away from home and a perfect vacation retreat for couples or a small family.
XAYMACA ( with a capacity for 4 - 8 persons) is a large two-storey country-village house with four spacious en-suite double bedrooms, two large living rooms with log-burning fireplaces, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Outdoors there is a large open air courtyard with Mediterranean plants and fountain, ideal for al-fresco meals all year round. On an upper level is the garden, large private swimming pool, covered porch, bbq area and fruit orchard with breathtaking views of the countryside. Xaymaca is the ideal venue for a large family or group of friends who like to vacation together.
Both vacation homes have their own private gardens, swimming pool, fruit orchard and parking area.
Located in peaceful and tranquil surroundings with panoramic views of the countryside, they are only a few minutes walk from the village centre that boasts a local bar/restaurant, grocery store, traditional bakery, pharmacy, etc. The Anglo-Spanish owners will happily provide ample information on the area and are at their guests disposal for anything they may require during their stay.
Both our holiday homes are registered with the Spanish Tourist Authorities and have been awarded maximum category and ratings as well as appearing in prestigous national and international guide books.

EL SEQUER: (Sleeps 4 + 1 baby) 2 double bedrooms; one with kingsize bed; one with two twin beds; 1 full bathroom with whirlpool bath .
XAYMACA: (Sleeps 8 + 2 babies) 4 bedrooms: two with kingsized beds, two with twin beds; all with ensuite bathrooms. Master ensuite bedroom has whirlpool bath and private terrace.
One guest bathroom downstairs.
Quality Bed and bath linen provided and Duvets and blankets for winter lets.
