Trini and Ale are your friendly, helpful and cool hosts in this small, cozy place above the harbor, with views over the entire bay of Valparaiso. The best things about Hostal Artilleria 199 is the high standard of cleanliness, relaxed, family-style atmosphere and "service". My gf and I have stayed there twice so far and it was a good experience every time, with nice details like being included in a grill-dinner and a lot of information on Valpo, which is especially useful for a photographer. Lejos en el mejor hostal que he estado. El ambiente es muy pacifico con una increible vista al puerto. Alejandro y Trini son muy acojedores. Muchisimas gracias por ese fin de semana.

We planned to stay in Valparasio a couple of nights, but the moment we stepped in the doors to our room we realised that we couldn't leave before we had to. We ended up with five fantastic days together with Trini, Ale and Carolina. Everything where just perfect: Clean white sheets, new and fresh bathroom, bright and clean room, fantastic view of Valparasio but most important was our hosts. It is situated in Artillería hill, next to uphill station of Artillería, Museo Naval and 21 de Mayo Promenade, typical of Valparaíso. Also We are at 3 minutes from the traditional Port Market, the city center and the Train Station.

All our rooms have private bathrooms, 4 ensuite and 3 next to the bedroom.
Our aim is to host travellers who expect a clean, neat and bright accommodation in an characterful old house with famliy atmosphare combined with excellent service. Breakfast included, also access to internet and WI-FI, hot shower 24 hours.

Policies & Restrictions
Check in at 14:00 and Check out at 12:00 pm.
Breakfast: from 9:00 to 11:30. Chilean breakfast which consist in: coffe, tea, herbs, milk, natural fruit juice, yoghurt, fruits, whole- grain toasts, fresh typical bread call“batido”, butter, two types of jam and sweet milk.
Nonsmokers.
Pets not allowed.
It is not allowed guetting non- registered guests in the house.
Guests are responsible for any lost or damage to the house, furniture, books etcétera.
Guests are requested to be mindful of the quiet hours specially between 22:30 and 10:00 am.
Directions
You can take a bus or trolley at Bus Station (Pedro Montt avenue), they will leave you at Aduana building, there you can take the Artillería elevator that is in front of our hostel.
Another possibility is to take a "colectivo" at Pedro Montt avenue (a type of share taxi), number 3 red sign that says "Pacífico", and tell the driver you are going to Paseo 21 The Mayo. It cost less than a dollar.
Finally can take a taxi at the Bus Station.
