The Candlelite Inn is conveniently located to historic downtown Ludington with its one of a kind shops and restaurants. A huge sandy Lake Michigan beach, parks, pier and marinas are in walking distance.

The SS Badger Ludington Michigan car ferry, shopping, dining, and two Michigan lighthouses, North Pierhead Lighthouse, and Big Sable Point Lighthouse at the Ludington State Park are all close by, as is historic White Pine Village. Enjoy some of the best charter fishing in the state, the queen of the Michigan state parks with all those sand dunes, and the lure of Lake Michigan. Whether you wish to relax with a soothing massage, picnic at the beach, or try your luck at Little River Casino, the lovely Ludington area offers something for everyone during all seasons

Description of Accommodations

Relax within a warm, welcoming turn of the century foursquare B&B on historic Ludington Avenue near Lake Michigan beaches and sand dunes. There are seven rooms to select from, each with private bath, air conditioning, high speed wireless Internet access, multiple premium movie channels, DVD player, movies, CD player, champagne buckets on silver stands, spa robes and comfortable queen beds, soft sheets and lots of fluffy pillows. There are three fireplaces and many special touches throughout the inn. The very special Romantic Retreat Suite features a whirlpool tub for two.

Spacious and welcoming rooms include a cozy enclosed front porch featuring games, magazines, chess, backgammon, and puzzles. Refreshments and snacks may be served on the enclosed porch or in the lovely parlor or relaxing living room with a corner fireplace. The elegant dining room glistens with fine china and crystal, two beverage centers, and there is also a small gift area featuring hand made soaps and delicious locally made jellies.

Outdoors is a relaxing deck with a sitting area, and other cozy sitting areas along with an outdoor fireplace.

Description of Rooms/Suites

The Romantic Retreat Suite with a Jacuzzi for two is the most spacious room, & with its soft colors & incredibly romantic decor, this suite is perfect for couples celebrating the most joyous of occasions, or just wanting some very special time together.

Another favorite room is the Victorian Room offering a romantic canopy bed, floral carpeting with a rose border, four season fireplace for added ambiance, beautiful large bay windows with lacy curtains, soft gray wing back chair, a & spacious bathroom.

Restrictions

Two rooms are pet friendly, and have private outdoor entrances.
