Welcome to Kookaburra Resort in beautiful Hervey Bay - Gateway to Fraser Island. Boasting unique and authentic Queensland style architecture for a true and fair-dinkum relaxed Queensland experience, the resort is located a short walk from the beach, shopping and the new water park.

Kookaburra Resort has it all for holiday makers; swimming pool, off-street monitored parking, fully licensed restaurant, Internet, telephones, common room with large comfortable couches and TV/DVD, Pool Table, Fraser Island Safaris and 4WD hire from our fleet of Land Cruisers.

Our Authentic Queensland rooms are spacious, with doubles and family rooms also featuring colour television, tea & coffee and private bathroom facilities.

Directions

Driving into Hervey Bay along Boat Harbour Drive turn left onto Main Street at the roundabout just before Hungry Jacks. Go straight on at the lights and straight on at the next round-a-bout. Immediately after the Pialba memorial hall take the first turn left into Charles Street and we are the second on the left. Parking is at the rear of the building, so follow the fence round into watson street until you find the gate leading into the car park.
Alternatively a courtesy bus from the bus station is available between 9am and 9pm. Please contact us before your arrival in order to book this.
