Aquarela Sweet Home

Aquarela Sweet Home is a cozy and affordable Bed and Breakfast set in front of one of the most famous tourist spot in Rio de Janeiro, 'The Maracanã Football Stadium', the stage of 2014 World Cup. We are not a property or a hotel, but we have a compromise of giving you the best attention, care and security in a warm and friendly ambient. Our B & B is also only a walking distance from the local commerce (Tijuca) with malls, restaurants, cafes and a cool bohemian nightlife.

We don't accept debit or credit card. The payment must be in cash (US$/Euros/Pounds or local currency - the Real R$, at published US$ parallel sell rate on date of payment) during the check in.

Check in time at 2pm.

Check out time at 12pm.

Directions

The best and easiest option is to take a taxi. Depending on the company, it should cost between 25 or 65 Reais.
Directions for Taxi: Simply show or tell the driver our street address and they will know where to go.

We also can do the transfer for 45 reais.

A cheaper option is by bus and subway:

Take the 'Real' regular bus (not the express) at the airport bus stop, ask the driver to stop at Cinelândia Square, where you will find the Cinelândia metrô station. Take the subway in the direction to north zone. Get off at Estácio station, move to the second metro line and get off at São Cristovão station. Out side the station take the right (you will see the Maracanã stadium), cross the white bridge and follow the channel, we are set in front of the Maracanã main entrance.
