Owned by a young French girl who fell in love with Brasil when she was 13 and whose last job was Sales Manager in an European group of hotels, the Pousada Pitanga offers you a warm and private welcoming with its 4 beautifully designed rooms, all with modern comforts and decorated using the theme of Brazilian fruit.

The Bonde, affectionately called by local residents as "Bondinho", is the unique tram-line still in operation and passes close to the pousada. It allows you to travel in the most unusual and unique to the centre of Rio de Janeiro where you can take the subway to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches.
