
A Seasonal, Rural and Unique Budget Accommodation located in the heart of Salt Spring Island BC Canada.We can host groups of up to 6 people in 3 cozy sleeping units.
We offer double sized beds with bedding provided. One of the units is equipped with a kitchenette. All units have power, & covered decks. We have an outdoor style composting toilet with power, as well as hot & cold running water. As Valhalla's only source of water is a drilled well, we unfortunately CAN NOT offer you showers. There are however 2 laundrymats in town with coin operated showers. There is also the gym, and the NEW SWIMMING POOL. Salt Spring also has 7 freshwater lakes.Our water is ok to drink as it run thru an ULTRAVIOLET filter system. Sorry, but we have a NO PET policy, and there is NO SMOKING indoors.

There are coolers, dishes,glassware & utensils available for your use at no charge while staying at Valhalla. A quiet rural setting awaits you at Valhalla Sleeping Units. Spring,Summer & Fall are very popular on Salt Spring Island so a 2 night minimum stay is required. Hitch-hiking on Salt Spring Island is an accepted way of getting around. As of January 2008 a public transit system will be in operation. BBQ's & camp-stoves are welcomed. There are face cloths & handtowels provided in each unit.The LUN1 Luna Lounger has the Kitchenette ($29 Cdn per/person) with dishes,pots,pans glassware & utensils. A 2 burner stove-top,with mini-fridge & sink with hot & cold running water. A coffee-maker & toaster are in this unit as well.
We also have a selection of board games to lend to guests.

Directions
Located at 601 Upper Ganges Road, Valhalla is between the Long Harbour & Vesuvius Bay ferry terminals. You can bike, drive, hitch-hike take a taxi,or the BUS to PORTLOCK PARK the closet bus stop to Valhalla, a ten minute walk away. It is a1/2 hour walk to the town centre from Valhalla. Close to St Mary's Lake and Vesuvius Bay beach.. There are also float planes available to get you to Salt Spring if the ferry isn't your thing. A new public transit system will be up & running as of January 2008.''
