Description   Turtle Hostel

This is the funkiest hostel in town. An old Victorian house full of character and newly renovated throughout, under new ownership. Conveniently downtown, one can get to nearly everywhere on foot within 10 minutes, or pick up a bus a block away. Beaches, Inner Harbour, Nightlife and Malls are close by.

It is also unquestionably the cheapest deal to be found in Victoria, with weekly rates even easier on the traveler' s budget. A really multicultural trampoline from which to explore Vancouver Island and British Columbia or to chill out for a while after coming from the buzz of a large city.

Heritage home located close to the central business district. We offer dorm beds and private rooms. Full kitchen, laundry, wireless internet, parking. No age retstriction, no curfew.

Check In
New Arrivals can check into the hostel after 2pm each day.

Valid identification is a requirement. We accept a Passport, Photo ID and / or Driver's License. Management may request additional information as required from guests.

All rooms / dorm beds are payable in advance by 11:00am. Over holding is not permitted

A $10.00 deposit is required for linen sets and entry keys, which will be refunded upon check-out.

Check Out
Departing guests must remove all of their belongings from their rooms by 11:00am

Any rented goods, such as towels or locks must be returned upon check-out.

Smoking / Alcohol / Drugs / Weapons
Smoking is not permitted within the premises. Any guest found smoking within the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not receive a refund.

Consuming Alcohol or drugs within the premises is strictly prohibited. The management reserves the right to confiscate alcohol or drugs found on the premises.

It is prohibited to bring weapons of any kind into the hostel.

Violations of the above rules will result in immediate termination of residency.

From Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal (B.C. Ferries):
Take the #70 city bus into Victoria
Get off at the Fisgard and Douglas St intersection
Walk two blocks East on Fisgard St. to Quadra St.
Walk a half Block south (Right)
From The Victoria Travel Info Center:
Walk North on Government St to Fisgard St.
Walk three blocks east on Fisgard St. to Quadra St.
Turn right and walk a half Block south.
From The Bus Station:

Walk north on Douglas St to Fisgard St.
Turn right and walk two blocks east up Fisgard St. to Quadra St.
Turn right and walk a half Block south.
From the Inner Harbor Ferries, 254 Belleville(Port Angeles, Bellingham and Seattle):

Walk three blocks east on Belleville St (towards the Legislative buildings)
Turn left on Douglas St
Walk north to Fisgard St.
Turn right and walk two blocks east to Quadra St.

From Ogden Point (Seattle) Ferry Terminal and Heliport Terminal:
Take the #30 or #31 buses to Fisgard St.
Walk two blocks east on Fisgard St. to Quadra St.
Turn right and walk a half Block south.

Take the shuttle bus to the #70 city bus stop at McTavish and Canora Ave (McTavish Park and Ride).
Take the #70 bus (schedule) and get off at City Hall (Fisgard and Douglas St intersection).
Walk two blocks east on Fisgard St. to Quadra St.
Walk a half Block south.
